I can't sign in

Goat Music shows only the providers currently available on the sign-in page. Spotify is not open to new public accounts. If one option is failing, try another with the same verified email. If none work, email hello@goatmusic.me with a screenshot and we'll dig in.

How do I rate an album?

Tap any album cover, then tap Rate this album. Choose a score from 1–100 and optionally add a written note. The app shows Saving, Saved, or Retry while it safely auto-saves your changes.

How do I build my album board?

Sign in, search for an album, and open its album page. Tap Add to Board to save it. Open the Board tab to see the albums you have saved.

How do I delete my account?

From the app: Settings → Delete Account. From the web: /account/delete. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm. Your profile and activity are hidden immediately. You can restore the account by signing in during the 7-day recovery window; after that grace period, the account data is permanently deleted.

I'm using an authorised mobile beta and not getting push notifications

Native apps are not currently in public app stores. For an authorised beta build, check that notifications are enabled in device settings (iOS Settings → Notifications → Goat Music; Android Settings → Apps → Goat Music → Notifications). Then in the app, open Settings → Notifications and confirm the categories you want are on. Pushes only fire for activity from people you follow.

How do I import a Discogs collection?

In the app, open Settings → Import, enter your Discogs username and personal access token, and preview the matches before confirming. Goat Music uses the token for that preview and does not store it.

How do I import my ratings from another service?

Settings → Import lists the services and file formats currently supported. Spotify playback and catalog links remain available for eligible existing connections, but Spotify listening-history import and history-based personalization are paused while we complete provider-policy review. Spotify sign-in is not open to new public accounts. Open the web app at goatmusic.me to review the available import options.
